A fantastic class with Diego Bado and Emma Lucia Reyes!

8.30 pm Monday 25th February – but put it in your diary NOW!

Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre

5 Glasshouse Walk

London SE11 5ES

Class & Práctica £12

Diego Bado is a talented and exceptionally thoughtful teacher from Montevideo, Uruguay who, with Emma Lucia Reyes, will be exploring for Queer Tango London how leaders can and should make time and space for followers to contribute to and shape the dance - and how followers can assert themselves, and take control!

“Done properly, all this makes for a better, more satisfying dance for both dancers” says Diego.

He adds:

“I have specialized in teaching tango for 15 years.

“I approach the tango technique through a search for a healthy organization of the body following the natural laws of movement, rather than adhering to given forms and styles.

“I try to make sure that my workshops always have a novel approach in the use of music with the leader and follower both listening to interpreting and sharing it.”

He will be supported in the class by Emma Lucia Reyes. Emma is a dancer and performer based in London. Trained from an early age in various styles of dance she brings this knowledge and passion for dance to her teaching of argentine tango. Her teaching focuses on the connection between the couple and mutual musical expression underpinned by a concentration on building a strong individual body technique.
