Dance Queer Tango NEXT FRIDAY! Doors open 6.30 for the third in our 6 Week Beginners’ Course, starting at 6.40 with Ray Batchelor – the “Giro”, (pronounced “hero”) “a key part of tango’s dancefloor vocabulary!” says Ray. And you can STILL start right there! We always briefly refresh everyone’s memory of the basics. At QTL we have always welcomed and been grateful to experienced dancers who join our Beginners’ Classes to give QTL beginners the decided advantage of dancing with people who already can – and it’s enjoyable for everyone! Absolute beginner? No experience, partner, or special clothes needed – but smooth, leather-soled shoes (NOT rubber) are a distinct plus, or just come with socks – and maybe a dash of bravery! Returning Beginners? Some familiar foundations and some new variations – we look forward to supporting you as you develop. AND THAT’S NOT ALL!
