As its contribution to LGBT History Month 2019, QTL are hosting a unique Historical Queer Tango Milonga, dancing to the music of [queer] time, music our LGBTQ+ dancing forebears may well have danced to, knowledgeably chosen for us by QTL DJ, Tom Cottle, in an evening punctuated by very, very short, illustrated reminders from queer tango historian, Dr Ray Batchelor of who these people were and what they may have looked like.

And it is FREE! And in a great venue!

So dress up if you want to, choosing a gender you like (and don’t if you don’t) and dance with us to celebrate.

Queer tango DOES have a history - it is just not yet well enough known.
