About The Event

Come and dance with the QTL at our centrally-located venue in Vauxhall Gardens.

8:30pm - 9:30pm - Workshop 1 'Changing the Embrace: Leaders who Listen, Followers who Lead'

What are the things which turn a leader and follower - any leader and follower - into a couple? Into the single dancing entity which can turn music into a real dance, and touch the stars? Not quite sure? Fernando Carrassco and Laisa Sousa address these issues directly - but not as you might imagine: Fernando reflects on the followers who lead, while Laisa attends to the leaders who listen - ONLY at Queer Tango London! Insights for all...

9:30 - 11:00pm - Practica

A chance to dance and practice with a range of tango music, old and new, from our resident DJ Tom Cottle. Refreshments (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available.

QTL’s vision of Tango is an inclusive one: If you want to dance tango – and maybe experiment with who does what, and why, and how – we want to encourage that curiosity and you will always be welcome at QTL!
